Here is my class supply list. Please label your school supplies. If you can put some of them already unwrapped, labeled, and packed inside your school box, that would be GRRREAT!
1 Pillow t-shirt, $8, sold at Meet the Teacher Night (Needed for field trips, special school events, and Spirit Day). 1 regular sized school box 1 clipboard 1 box of Crayola crayons (the 16, 24, or 48 count are fine) 2 red pencils/pens (I prefer red pencils) 1 large pink eraser 1 pencil sharpener 2 (70 count) spiral notebooks, any color 1 package of pencils 1 pair of scissors 1 small bottle of Elmer's glue (no glue sticks please) 1 bottle of disinfectant wipes 1 large box of Kleenex 2 plain green folders with brads, and pockets 1 one inch, white binder with pockets, and clear overlay cover/pocket 1 package of white ruled paper with reinforced tabs (Sparco Brand). If you cannot find paper with reinforced tabs, regular white ruled paper is fine. 1 set of head phones/or ear plugs for computer lab 1 package of reinforced tabs for lined paper
It's important to purchase folders with pockets because we use the pockets for organizing homework, and school newsletters. The brads help keep monthly behavior charts that need to be signed weekly, reading logs, and the Marathon Mileage Log. Usually, the folders come apart in January, so you may want to buy extra green, or blue folders. This saves you a trip to the store on those busy work days.
If you would like to send extra boxes of Kleenex, I would appreciate it very much! We always run out before the school year is over. The disinfectant wipes are used every week to clean our tables, so any size bottle of wipes are fine.
Our class will be using red pencils every day, so this is another important supply needed. Red pencils are better than pens. Office supply stores are most likely carrying these.
By December, the crayons look like little nubs, so please send a fresh box to school after the winter break. I've noticed that the off-brand crayons do not hold up as well. They tend to break easily so I recommend Crayola. New crayons make a great stocking stuffer.
Please do not send liquid hand sanitizers in a bottle. We could use hand wipes for fieldtrips and such. The school provides hand soap.
